The Menopause Report 2025

Menopause symptoms are widespread. 70% of women say they affect their mood or mental health, yet only three in ten have sought or received support.

To better understand the gap between what women are experiencing and what they're being offered, OLLY and Carrot partnered with Ipsos to survey 3,000 American women aged 35–54. The findings reveal how perimenopause and menopause are shaping women's lives, relationships, and careers, plus where employers, healthcare providers, and benefits leaders have an opportunity to do better.

Inside the report, you'll find data on:

• Workplace support gap: Only 11% of women aged 35–54 in the workforce are aware of formal HR benefits addressing menopause, and 64% say their workplaces offer none. Nearly a quarter say this lack of support reflects negatively on their employer.
• Dismissed or minimized symptoms: Of those who have sought healthcare, three in five were acknowledged and offered options, while two in five were dismissed, minimized, or not taken seriously.
• Information disconnect: 45% of women aged 35–54 hear about menopause on social media, but only 34% hear about it from a medical provider. 22% say reliable information is hard to find.
• Impact on relationships: 54% of women experiencing symptoms report effects on their sex life or relationships, including reduced libido (46%) and vaginal dryness (35%).
• Impact on work: 45% of employed women with symptoms report at least some effect on work performance, and 23% have considered reducing their hours.
