Many employees pursuing parenthood don't talk about it at work. More than half don't discuss their fertility or family-building journey openly with colleagues. Nearly a third wouldn't feel comfortable asking their employer for support, even when they need it.
Carrot surveyed more than 1,000 people to understand how fertility and family building are experienced in the workplace, and what employers can do to change that. The findings show that financial stress, scheduling anxiety, and silence are the default, but they don't have to be.
