We are pleased to see President Trump's continued commitment to ensuring every American has robust access to fertility care, including but not limited to IVF. By focusing on one of the most expensive aspects of treatment — prescription drugs — The White House has taken a huge step forward to help increase access and lower costs while maintaining quality fertility care.

Not only does this better serve American families, it creates new momentum, incentives and opportunities for employers, plan sponsors and other organizations to step in and offer even more robust fertility benefits for lower cost. Importantly, the President also recognized the need for flexibility and comprehensiveness in how we approach fertility care — in our own lives, and in benefits design at work. The result is a better and more personalized experience for American workers going through fertility challenges, and lower costs for employers, health plans, labor unions and other plan sponsors. This is a win-win across the board.

From the beginning, Carrot’s mission has been to make fertility benefits as common as dental and vision coverage at work — and these actions by The White House help bring us closer to this reality than ever before. I want to thank the administration for its leadership on this issue. Carrot remains committed to partnering with policymakers, business executives, and health plan leaders to seize this moment and take a giant leap forward so that everyone can fully realize their family dreams.
